Colona Watersports opened in 2002 at the Magawish Hotel in Hurghada, Egypt. The centre boasts full rescue and beach services with launching and landing assistance, weather stations, wireless internet and a shop stocked with the latest equipment. It’s our aim to be on the forefront of the Kite surfing industry so you’ll always find the highest quality products available for test and purchase.
In addition to our top of the line materials you will find a multi-lingual staff of Instructors, management and beach assistants on hand to cater for all your Kiting needs during your stay! Colona Watersports is affiliated with the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and teaches all levels of IKO kiteboarding courses from beginner up to IKO Instructor Training Courses. With 3 separate areas for experts, beginners and a completely dedicated school area, you will find it one of the safest and accessible places to learn and improve your skills.
In addition to introducing and educating hundreds of students to the sport of Kite surfing. Colona Watersports also caters for many free-riders and pro-kiters. We’re always pleased to welcome back guests who visit us time and time again to enjoy the good winds and warm waters.
