Humboldt Kites - ECUADOR

Humboldt Kites Kiteboarding school is located in the fishing village of Santa Marianita, 18km south of the small city of Manta, Ecuador.

We offer courses from beginners to advanced, equipment rental and equipment repair.

Our windy season is from May to December. Wind ranges from 15 to 25 knots. The school is located in a 5Km sandy beach, combined with constant side on shore winds make it a safe place to learn.

To get here: International airports are in the cities of Guayaquil or Quito. From Guayaquil take a 3 hour bus ride to Manta. From Quito there is a 30minute fligh (recomended option) or a 10 hour bus ride.
Once in Manta you can take the "camionetas" ($1 usd) that will bring you to the beach. Make sure to tell them exacly were you are going! A taxi should charge you around $7usd, more if from the airport. Or contact us and we can pick you up!
