There are many innovations in kiting and no one ends up owning equipment for too long. Buying used makes you feel better about keeping up with the latest kiting technology. Buy used gear from a reliable source because its difficult to know what you like so new to the sport. Try a few different brands in a variety conditions before settling on a style. And that too, will change.
