"island". Serious kiters
searching
for wind along Brasil's North East coast have all told us the same
thing, "you have the best spot". I respond, "yes I know, that's why I
live here". It is the the best place to learn to kite or practice new
tricks since we have largest lagoon in Brasil. Kiters have been coming
to our spot here in Ilha do Guajiru for only a few years but we have
quickly become the #1 destination to kite. We have one of the longest
wind seasons in the entire world, with wind starting in July that last
until February. Another important feature is that we have a protective
sandbar that separates us from the ocean, creating a beautiful shallow/
flat water lagoon.The Accommodation
Our Pousada, bed and breakfast, is located only 30M from the launch area. You can see all the kiting action from our 2nd level terrace. We have 10 rooms available for kiters and can accommodate singles or up to groups of 4. Aside from just serving a great breakfast we also have a restaurant and bar serving the coldest drinks as well as making local and international dishes to satisfy the hungry kiter. Inside the Pousada you will also find, fusebol, darts, a t.v/entertainment room, as well as a hot tub to relax in on the 2nd level.

Lessons
Our lessons are available for complete beginners or intermediates
looking to learn some new tricks, backroll, jumping, toe-side, riding
blind etc. We also offer guided downwind trips through mangrove rivers,
open ocean, flat water or waves.Beginner lessons are 10hrs, include
full equipment, and buggy support, cost is 1000R/person or group of 2
for 1750R.
We also have landboards, kite buggy and dirt bikes available for
rent.Kite trips to Prea, Jericoacoara, and Maramar can be planned and
booked, please ask at time of booking for details.
The Packages
For Packages, make a Reservation Inquiry and we will get back to you with options. We offer packages with accommodation and lessons and options for complete airfare packages with transfers to and from Fortaleza.

The Location
Our great spot in Ilha do Guajiru is located 230Km North of Fortaleza, local international airport. We are also 5km outside of Itarema or 75km South of Jericoacoara.
