Mexican Caribbean Kitesurf - Tulum (Riviera Maya)
by Mauricio Vega
(Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico)
Mexican Caribbean Kitesurf is about beaches, palm trees, hammocks and a KITEBOARDING & PADDLE SURF SCHOOL in Tulum, a paradise in the Mexican Caribbean.
DO YOU WANT TO LEARN KITESURFING? If you are just looking for feeling the power of the kite in and out of the water, try our DISCOVERY COURSE 1,5h. But if you want kitesurfing to be your sport & hobby go ahead and select one of the following courses:
ROOKIE COURSE 3h: you’ll learn kitesurf theory, how to fly a kite in land (kite control), how to do body drag upwind and how to use all the power of the kite in the water.
WATERMAN COURSE 6h: we’ll put a kitesurf board on your feet to practice “water-start” trying to stand up on the board with the instructor assistance. Once you have some board control, you’ll try to do water start by yourself being watched all the time by an instructor.
INDEPENDENT WATERMAN COURSE 9h: you’ll become an independent rider so you can go to any beach and check the wind direction and power, the size of the kite you will use and the rest of the factors you need to kite without supervision.
We also RENT Kite & Paddle gear for experienced people.
Despite having a permanent spot in Tulum Beach we move with the wind organizing KITE TRIPS to different Mexican Caribbean spots as Sian Ka'an, Rio Lagartos, Isla Holbox or Isla Blanca depending on wind forecast.
Mexican Caribbean Kitesurf is Ben Wilson Surf's (Noise Kites) TEST CENTRE in Mexico. Noise are the best kites for surfing the waves.
BEST SEASON from November to May | WINDS from 15 to 20 knots
