Southern Calamianes Region, Philippines

(Coron, Palawan, Philippines)
The Southern Calamianes Region, Palawan, Philippines is a group islands, kite spots are only accessible by boat. Once you get out there you will be rewarded with steady wind, crystal-clear turquoise water and white beaches, and: you will be the only one's out there...
Location Name: Southern Calamianes Islands
Main City: Coron
Best winds: November to March
Wind Conditions: 15 to 35 knots
Water type: flat, chop, few wave spots
Water Temp: boardshorts or bikini
Nightlife: none
Local Tip : bring a book and a snorkel
The only Con is the accessibility, flights from Manila to Coron take an hour, the boat ride out to the islands about 2 to 3 hours. On some of the islands live a few people, some are uninhabited. Tropical island-lifestyle and tranquility pure. Beautiful landscapes.
What I like bast about it: Kiteboarding in a place that would be breathtaking even without wind.
Other locations nearby: Coron with its divesites (wreckdiving), El Nido
Other Activities, when the wind's not on: Snorkelling, diving, swimming, trekking, canoeing, relaxing
